2 c Heavy cream

1 lb Semisweet chocolate; cut up

2 ts Vanilla

Heat the heavy cream in a saucepan until just boiling. Remove from the heat. Add the semisweet chocolate and vanilla. Stir mixture until smooth and the chocolate is melted. Transfer to a glass bowl. Place the glass bowl over ice water. Stir until spreadable. ---
