Cucumber and Onion Salad #2

1 1/2 c Cucumber, sliced paper thin

1/2 c Onion, sliced paper thin

1/3 c Vinegar

5 tb Water

1/4 ts Salt

1 ds Pepper

15 ts Sugar

Layer cucumber and onion in a jar or bowl. Combine remaining ingredients and pour over vegetables. Chill overnight, turning jar or stirring several times.
