| 6 | each | potatoes, cut into pieces | |
| 2 | each | onions, chopped | |
| 3 | each | carrots, diced | |
| 2 | each | celery, stalks, chopped | |
| 4 | each | chicken bouillon cubes | |
| 1 | tablespoon | parsley, flakes | |
| 1 | tablespoon | salt | |
| 1 | pepper, to taste | ||
| 1/3 | cup | butter | |
| 13 | oz | evaporated milk | |
| 1 | chives, chopped | ||
| 1 | parmesan cheese, grated | ||
Directions: | |||
| Combine the above except the milk and cook on low 10-12 hours or high 3-4 hours. During the last hour add evaporated milk and chives. Sprinkle fresh grated parmesan cheese over the top. | |||
